I wanted to make two dumpsters and a settee for the set to practice making bigger props as I've done a few small scale props but not bigger props. I also wanted to attempt to do one prop using materials which will be the settee, as we were using a local workshop its easier to make these props using their equipment.

Next on my to-do list is actually making the set that will feature the Mrs Shoug puppet. So I decided to create an alleyway scene as in Shannon's notes she mentions that her character lives in 13 Dustbin Road, so I want to create a secluded alleyway scene that would suit the character of Mrs Shoug.

Armature Planning & Mrs Shoug Maquette

Now I have to get my making hat on! Lots of things to make, with a big range of materials! Here are a couple of my planning sheets of how I am going to go about starting to make the puppet and also some photos of a maquette that I made in a day to use as reference for the puppet.  

So after deciding (finally!) how I will be going about making the armature which would allow me to involve a replaceable tail for movement, I decided to make a maquette to help me get a 3D view of Mrs Shoug, here are the final images of that...
